On Target Lead System F.A.Q.
Below are the answers to some of the most common questions we get about our Fresh Leads system.Q: How do you gather these leads?
A: We use many different combinations of media such as newspaper, magazine, flyers and other forms of print advertising; through our website, using direct mail, telemarketing and even mass media such as radio and television. All our efforts are designed to attract buyers and sellers of houses to contact us. After we get the information regarding the house they want to sell or buy, we also ask them a series of qualifying questions to determine if they are candidates for other products and services. They are told that these other businesses will be using the information we collect and be contacting them to solicit their patronage and, most importantly, many will be offering discounts and coupons in an effort to earn their business.
Q: How do I access the system for administrative purposes?
A: When you subscribe, we will send you an email with the links and login information necessary to access the "Lead Buyer's Private Area". Then the next time you visit us here, just click on the "Subscriber Login" button on the menu and you see the screen shown below:

Then, just enter the username and password you received in the email you received when you became a subscriber and click on "Lead Buyer Login".
Q: How do I set up my daily budget and other preferences?
A: In the subscribers area, we provide a "Preferences Area" where you can control your budget, the area(s) from which you want to receive leads, which categories of leads you want to receive and the age threshold of any received leads. (see below):

Just complete the info requested and you'll be all set.
Q: Can I use this in more than one city?
A: Of course! Just go to the "Preferences Area" and select the areas you want to service. You can select any US Zipcode or Canadian Postal Code and a radius from that zip/postal code to define your areas. You can select all of the zip/postal codes within that target area, or you can pick and choose which zip/postal codes you want to receive leads from.
Q: What kind of summary data are you providing regarding the leads I receive?
A: In the subscribers area, we provide a "Lead Purchase History" where you can review the invoices you have received and drill down to the leads which are referred to by each individual invoice. (see below):

Just click on the lead for more detail.
Q: What if my credit card has a problem?
A: You will receive an automated email that let's you know we couldn't send you leads because of a problem with your card. That email will contain instructions for resolving the problem and a link that takes you to your billing information update area. All you have to do to resolve the problem is to either update your billing information and / or change the credit card on file and you'll be all set to immediately receive leads again.
Q: Can I Get Leads Cheaper Off The Internet?
A: There’s a big difference between randomly completed data and a truly qualified lead. Our leads are from real people who have expressed potential interest in your service within 48 hours of the day you get the lead. A live operator asked them the questions and these are not internet leads collected by online spiders and cookies. If you only closed one out of ten of the leads you receive from our system, any amount you might pay us is irrelevant and our leads dramatically increase your odds of success.
Q: How Many Other People Get These Same Leads?
A: It depends on your business. Some businesses can only use area specific leads and others, such as contractors, may not be as concerned with a localized area such as zip or postal code. We will not knowingly over saturate any business category. We’re all in this together and we want long term customers who do well with our leads.
Q: How Many Leads Will You Generate?
A: We don’t know. It depends on a lot of variables including your industry. It may be only a handful a week. Remember you control the flow by controlling your budget.
Q: I’ve Bought Leads Before And They Were Worthless:
A: So have we. That’s why we started generating our own where we can trust the information and know it’s current. The leads you buy are all local, manually collected and in most cases the prospect has expressed interest in your business or you won’t get them, and remember, no long term contracts and you can determine the age of the lead. You can quit any time.
Q: What Does Your Company Sell?
A: We buy and sell houses. It’s unlikely we’re competition to you.
Q: When Will My Credit Card Get Charged?
A: We review and approve leads throughout the day, but we will only charge your credit card once per day for the leads sent to you that day.
Q: How Do I Know The Info I Receive Is Correct?
A: We report what the customers tells us and our screeners are trained to get good information. The customer is told that some area businesses will be offering them free coupons and specials and that you will be contacting them to do so. They know that if they give us erroneous info they can’t receive the special offers from you and have no reason whatsoever to lie. In addition, we’ll replace any lead you buy if the contact info is incorrect (see below).
Q: What Happens If A Lead I Receive Is “Bad” Or Unusable?
A: Of course we do everything we can to insure that any lead we ship is as complete and accurate as possible. However, we are only human and therefore, mistakes and omissions will occur from time to time.
First, let's understand what we feel would make a lead unusable. If the phone number we have provided in a lead is in service (it rings when dialed) and the address provided is valid (regular USPS mail is deliverable), then we would deem that lead as valid.
We obviously cannot force the person who completed the data to respond to any actions you might undertake to contact them. However, if a lead is indeed unusable, (i.e. the potential customer is unreachable via the information we provide) then the "dispute" process is very simple.
Each lead is delivered to you individually via email and each of these emails contains a built-in link to use in disputing a lead. If a lead is unusable (via the criteria above), just click on that built-in link and you'll be presented with a web page where you can let us know what problem you experienced with the lead. If we can resolve it by correcting the information that makes it unusable, we will do so and return it to you. If we do not do so within 48 hours of receiving your dispute, you will receive an automatic lead credit to your account.
